Case of 8,000 Menacing Posts Tests Limits of Twitter Speech

Federal cyberstalking charges were brought against a man for using Twitter to send thousands of tweets about Alyce Zeoli, a Buddhist leader.  The victim, Ms. Alyce Zeoli, was represented by Shanlon Wu and Chun Wright.  The case raises cutting-edge issues about criminal prosecution in cyberspace.  In a front-page article of the New York Times, WGW attorney Shanlon Wu stated that this use of Twitter made his client, Alyce Zeoli, “constantly attacked and monitored.”
